Synopsis:
The new adventure begins in the desert in 1957 - the height of the Cold War. Indy (Harrison Ford) and his assistant Mac (Ray Winstone) escaped a bit of a negative encounter with Soviet agents on a remote airfield. Now, Professor Jones returned to his home in Marshall University - only to discover that things were bad to worse. His friend and the school dean (Jim Broadbent) explains that the recent actions of Indy became the target of suspicion and the government is pressing the university to the fire. Upon leaving the town, Indiana knows the young rebel Mutt (Shia LaBeouf), who have enormous contempt for the archaeologist, but a proposal: If they help Mutt on a mission with very personal reasons, Indy may face one of the major findings archaeological of all time: The Crystal Skull of Akator, a legendary object of fascination, superstition and fear. But as Indy and Mutt to leave the most remote corners of Peru - land of ancient tombs, forgotten explorers and a supposed city of gold - they quickly realize they are not alone in your journey. Soviet agents are also in search of artifacts, including cold and devastadoramente beautiful Irina Spalko (Cate Blanchett), whose squad is an elite across the globe behind the Crystal Skull, which they believe will help the Soviet empire to dominate the world. Indy and Mutt must find a way to trick the Soviets, follow the impenetrable trail of mystery, tackle enemies and friends of questionable morals, and above all, stop the powerful Crystal Skull, fall into the wrong hands.
